Introduction

For this introduction to the southern coastal areas of Cambodia, we head for Koh Kong after arrival in Phnom Penh. We spend two nights aboard our luxury floating lodge where kayaks are available for the more adventurous, before continuing onto the country’s prime beach location of Sihanoukville for some relaxation downtime and sun worship. The re-emerging resort of Kep beckons and we enjoy fresh seafood on an island trip and the unique cave pagodas in the limestone karsts that dot the area. Our final leg of the journey crosses the border into Ha Tien in Vietnam and our final leg of the itinerary, the beautiful island paradise that is Phu Quoc.
